poly to MVMCP

This will be our first time to Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Party. We will be going Tuesday Dec. 10th.

What time should we leave the Poly? We will be having a room service dinner.

Will the monorail be packed?

Also, could we stop off at the Contemporary (we have relatives staying there), meet our family and walk from there? How long is the walk?

I believe the party starts at 7 p.m. What time do you recommend arriving?

I've noted that some people suggest arriving early however we will not be using park passes for that day. What is the likely time that people will be let in?

And if we arrive early, will we miss the snow on Main Street?

I personally would probably leave the room around 5:30 - 5:45. The reason, you have to get to the monorail, possible wait because it tends to be crowed on MVMCP nights. Take the monorail to the CR, meet up with your family and then walk to the MK. Then, if they’re not ready..wait This should put you in line to enter MVMCP on time and will let you see the snow.
