Poly to GF?

We will be staying at the Poly in May and I would like to check out most of the other resorts to get a good idea of where I would like to stay next time. Do you have to take the monorail or can you walk there?

It's a beautiful ten minute walk along the path from the Poly to the GF. We stayed at the GF last year and walked over to the Poly for breakfast and dinner a few times. We also enjoyed walking over to the TTC to catch the monorail to Epoct. The grounds are so beautiful, I'm sure you'll enjoy seeing it all first hand.

Thanks, I knew I saw something about walking there. I was just on the Moms panel(which seems to have some misleading info) on the Disney site and one of the Moms stated you had to take the monorail since there was no way to walk there.

The walkway goes along the beach and the Wedding Pavilion.

The walk from the Poly to the GF is lovely, right along the lake. The monorail is great for this, too, since the GF is the stop right after the Poly. We've taken the monorail to the GF and then walked to the Poly. If it's raining, I would suggest the monorail, since the walk is long enough and uncovered that you could get drenched on the way.

Very pretty to do at night too, when everything is lit up around the lagoon and MK.
