Poly to GF to WL

Hi! I am wanting to see the Christmas decorations after the 5:00 Luau then go back to the Poly as we are staying there. GF is easy, but what would be the best way to go to the WL and should we go there first, or second?

To get to WL from Poly, take monorail to Contemporary, then boat to WL (ask whether boat is going to MK or WL--they do both...). Return by boat to Contemporary, then to GF!
