We were at Disney this past May and I booked a return trip for September to use the "bounce back" discount. We decided to stay at Poly because we had never stayed there and I am in love with the Resort. We booked a "theme park view" room, but I don't have any more information that that. I wanted to go ahead and attempt to make a room request....can you suggest some rooms/buildings to ask for?

Thank you!

If you google touring plans room views, you will find lots of information with uploaded pictures to see what room views are like. Different building vary by which kind of room you booked: DVC Deluxe Studios are in Moorea, Club Level rooms are in Hawaii, etc. It is a beautiful resort! We stayed in a Deluxe Studio in May with Lake View and it was awesome!

Click the link for Poly and choose the MK View rooms from the drop down. You'll be able to see the locations and longhouses of TPV rooms and some actual photos of their views.

Regular (non-CL) TPV rooms are in two longhouses: Tuvalu and Aotearoa. Touring Plans and Tikiman Pages (google it) are great resources to learn about each longhouse.

Most TPV rooms are in Tuvalu. I have not stayed there but that's the longhouse I would request. It's the 'better' TPV option in my humble opinon. Second floor rooms do not have balconies, which is a big draw back for many folks. First floor rooms have patios, third floor rooms have balconies. So a common request for this booking category would be Tuvalu Longhouse, third or first floor.

Hope that helps!

We love the Poly and once you stay there you will be hooked. I agree with GADisneyDad14 to use Touring Plans and Tikiman Pages. I get a lot of information on the Tikiman website. Enjoy the Poly - we love it.

Thank you everyone! Much appreciated. I called the Reservations line and we have a room in Tuvalu. I requested a third floor with balcony. Hopefully we will love the room and it will be a "magical" stay.
74 days, but who's counting? ; )
