Poly Special Room service question

We are staying at the Poly this summer. Last year at the AKL on our first night I ordered a "special" treat for mu kids from room service with an animal theme and cookies. It was located on the room service menu.

Can anyone tell me if there is such a thing at the Poly - a kind of Special Treats section (not desserts). Maybe with the chocolate strawberries or cookies with a tropic theme? I looked up the Poly room service menu on allears all ready but couldn't find anything.

We are not staying in CL if that makes a difference.

Okay so I have since checked tikiman's site, the Poly thread in the resorts section and I rechecked allears. I did find on allears a section of the room service menu that is called "Celebrations and Special Events", and the COntemporary has one under "Special Private Dining and Amenities".

I still have found nothing for the Poly. I wouls really like to know in advance because if they do not have some sort of special treats I can order for our first night, I guess I will have to order from WDW Florist.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I don't remember any specifics but there are some things offered last time I noticed.

Maybe try asking on the FAQ? Some people on there have recently returned and others are there right now...someone may be able to help.

Another way to do it is just call the resort and ask to be transferred to private dining.

I don't know about the menu at the Poly; I haven't stayed there myself. I took a peek at the room service menu, but it looks like the dessert section is pretty sparse. Why not try calling them, though? I'm sure they would be more than happy to help you make the first night of your stay special. Maybe they even have special offerings not listed on the regular menu? It wouldn't be unheard of...
