Poly selling out?

Just talked with a Guide who said that the DVC Poly Bungalows are almost sold out. Can anyone confirm or have heard the same?
We'd like to buy points there for that 11 month window, but aren't quite ready yet. Don't want to miss the opportunity.

You might want to read this article, Copper Creek Sales Improve in September 2017 on the DVC News main page. Wil Lovato, wdrl here on the DisBoards, says it is possible PVB will sell out in January 2018.

Even if they do sell out, there is always the resale market.

DVC is always reacquiring points from people that default on their loans or fail to pay their dues or ROFR. So even if they sell out doesn't mean points won't be available, it might mean that there will not be enough points available in the use year you want. But other UYs have plenty of points for your contract.

At 100k points/month, January is very likely.

The bungalows will not sell out before the studios. They will both sell out at the same time.

Having said that, there can be quite a frenzy toward the end, so if you know you want Poly, I would not wait too long.
