Poly room....HELP!!

We will be arriving at The Poly Thursday April 24. We are off on a cruise, not The Disney Cruise, this Sunday, (flying out Friday). We have reservations for concierge, lagoon view. My wife wants to be on the 1st floor, so she can walk out to paradise.

I know people say to e-mail room requests two days before, but we will be at sea. Do you think I should send our request this Friday?

Also, any suggestions on a great room with a view on the first floor? I will ask if no 1st are available, the 3rd is our second wish so any view rooms on 1st or 3rd?

Since you are staying concierge you should of recieved an itinerary from the Poly to fill out and send in with room request, PS request etc. If you haven't recieved this you can email them. The email address is posted on Tikimans polynesian pages at
www.tikiman2001.homestead.com Look under concierge services, i believe that is where it is. Also there is a page where you can see what the itinerary looks like. They are very helpful at the Polynesian. Not sure of which room on the first floor has a great view never had a 1fl room. Sorry maybe someone else can help you out there.

Thanks...I will send an e-mail off now. I once read they send the packet about a week out. As I am leaving a few dqays earlier, I will miss this.

I can't believe you haven't gotten it yet! We got our packet from the Poly about two months out!

If you used a TA to book, they probably got it and didn't forward it to you--happens a lot
