There was one under the desk in Rapa Nui rooms and it looks like it is there in Fiji also.

WOOPS I missed that one, still wouldn't help with three kids and two adults, will look for it next time!! ;)

Steve, do you recall how big it was. Like a snack tray or was it larger? Could 2 people use it at the same time?

Thanks for the report.

My first and still my favorite....The POLY!

Thanks for the great review! So glad to hear you had a great time!! We will be there in jan. prior to our cruise on the Wonder. We will be in Hawaii bldg. staying conceirge;does anyone know if these rooms will have been refurbished by then? Thanks again;can't wait to see your pictures! Angel

After reading the comments about the table or lack of I thought it worth showing you the picture that someone has posted of the table in the renovated room at Fiji, there are some great photos in the thread (live at the Poly).

I read this post last night, Sammie and was much relieved. Thanks. Petition cancelled. :teeth:

There is a picture of it on lynr's thread. It appears to roll out on wheels from underneath the desk and has all the great detail you'd expect from the Polynesian. Whoopee! :cool1: :cool1:

Thanks for posting the pic! :)

Thanks for sharing. Glad to see you came back a Polynesian Lover. Its pure paradise there.

Hi. Loved your report!

We stayed at the Polynesian over the summer and at WL this past weekend. One thing you mentioned was transportation and that your DH said "value", "Polynesian" and "Disney" in one sentence. LOL. I would HIGHLY agree. My DH remarked a couple of times this past weekend that they extra $$$ spent for a monorail resort is so worth it. Our top two faves are WL and Polynesian. Glad you had a magical stay in a NEW ROOM! Is there a green smiley for envy? :teeth: Can't wait to see pics!!!

Thanks for the photo, I was mistaken that it folded away, I guess put away under the desk area is a better description.

Nice addition, that you can use then put it away.

Thanks for sharing.

I am not sure the old table would have been considered enough room either but than again I don't think I would be happy with the new room if they tried to fit in dining for 5 ;)

Aloha

Steve

We did use the old tables for all five of us a couple of times over the years. Two on chairs, one on a bed and I think two on the daybed. Had to move the table a bit of course but it worked. Much more often it was just for a couple of us when middle son wanted a night away from restaurants. But I'm so glad there is still a table. :cool1: Very, very slick design.

And I'm sure my husband is going to love the new lounge chair. :sunny:

I know I was just kidding about the dining for 5. Maybe the new design should have added a booth to eat in ;) :earseek:

Thanks for posting that picture here. Now I won't miss it when I go in 1 week. I think we'll get more "usable" table space with that and the desk then we did with the old table as we weren't up for all the moving of chairs and table to have more than sitting for 2 with the old set up. That table looks pretty easy to move.

Thanks to OP for a great review.

I'm doing my single digit dance now.

was there a little stool with that table in the pic??? I swear I did not see that in there and we pulled out the desk chair and used it!! I believe you though!! I must not have done enough research on the new rooms!!! :rotfl:

When I saw that pic I thought that was a stool in the foreground and thought maybe it was the ottoman from the big chair but then noticed the fabric didn't match. On closer look I think that what is that picture is a piece of the desk chair.
