Poly pool bar

Hey Poly people! I will be visiting the Poly in September and I wondered... is the pool bar open then? I thought I read somewhere that it is closed in the off season. I'm not sure if September is considered off season. Also, is that one of those bars that you can swim up to? Any info would be appreciated. I'm trying to paint a picture in my head of things my BF and I can do there, and swimming up to the bar for a pina colada sounds delightful!

Sorry - you can't swim up to the pool bar. It's located in a separate little hut a few feet from the pool area. I don't know about the hours, though, sorry.

The Barefoot pool bar at the Poly is most definitely open in September. We go there in October and I always visit the pool bar for my Lava flow. Tell Rose the bartender that Terry says Hi!

yummy! have one for me! we were ther in July and I had my First lava flow! I was just wondering - could you have one for me?

If you get the chance go inside and go to the bar at Ohana and get a LAPU LAPU you will not be dissapointed! This drink is amazing and definately helps you "unwind"(made me a littltle lupu lupu) LOL

You will love the Poly- it is absolutely beautiful and we encountered very friendly people! My son went missing for 25 minutes- the longest of my life- and Dore from poly concierge desk cried with me when we found him!(he was watching tv in the wrong room!)

We were there in Dec. and they were definately open.

weeyore is right. I loved the inside bar at Ohana's. It reminded me of the 60's tiki bars and the drinks were wonderful!
