We stayed at Poly for the first time in Oct '09, we loved it so much we probably won't stay anywhere else again!

Wondering if anyone out there has a picture of the view from Hawaii GV CL room? We just upgraded our honeymoon and wondering what kind of view we're in for...TIA!!

Taken in August 2009

This photo cracked me up! Did anyone else notice the man's legs sticking straight up from the pool? I don't know, maybe it was a long day today but it struck me so funny! :lmao:

BTW, I am on a quest to find more MK view pics from Tuvalu. ANyone have any they can dig up and post? Pretty please? :flower3:

These are from our Disneymoon last May 2009. We are going again with some of my family in March 2010 and looking at all the pictures makes me wish it were sooner

I love the Poly and have had some great times there, but my here's some pictures from my last visit.

Shower head that was clogged with lime.

Here it is caulked like a 5 year old did it.

The sink that wasn't fixed in the two days I was there. I got sick at looking at the hair that was clogged in the trap, so I removed the hair at least.

I found the room to not be as clean as it was on previous visits, but I still like being at the Poly. I just didn't think it was worth the price this time.

Oh my! What room were you in? We had a broken bulb, the drain in the shower was also broke, the bathroom doorknob was broken & badly fixed, the fan in the bathroom also didn't run for more than 10 seconds, no foot rest, clock ran on batteries-no light at night, & our key wouldn't work at the opposite end of the concierge buliding...sounds like our room!! (We are just back)

Here's my room number and it was a GV room in the Hawaii building. I couldn't remember it, but I knew I had it on shutterfly.:rotfl:

The room was in bad shape and for what Disney charges, it was almost a crime, IMO. Like you, my doorknob to the bathroom was barely hanging on and there was several issues. I can't tell you how disappointed I was. Good thing I only there for two nights and I even wrote Disney and complained, but have heard nothing in the 10 months since my last vacation.

Here's the link to my trip report and even though most of the trip was about my 4 days at Universal Orlando, the first two highlight the problems I had at the Poly. Don't get me wrong, I still love WDW and really like the Polynesian, but will only stay at the Poly again if I get a heck of a deal. Here's my trip report link below.

This is a take off from a previous video but I tried to focus only on the grounds of the Poly. Sorry for the shakey parts, a tripod would have helped.

If you do like it, would you hit the like button. Gets me higher up on the search results. Thanks and kind regards.
