POLY over here....August 2010

I can hardly wait for my own personal POLY immersion program, I have been obsessing all things POLY since January. I keep dreaming of Wishes by the pool!!!!

My friend told me once about her trip and how they were in the pool watching wishes...after that I was done...I wanted that magical moment for myself.

POLY has been my dream resort, since I was 5 and I rode the monrail and saw this fantasy resort.

This Disney trip is a surprise to my kids, but on our last day at POR we will pretend we are leaving for the airport, but really we will be headed for the POLY.

I have POLY designs for special shirts for the POLY, I have Kona, Ohana, Ohana character breakfast and Spirit of Aloha ADR's. I have the Leis packed, the tink gifts centered around hibiscus flower themes(3 DD's), and our matching Family Hawaiian clothers.

This is a great idea dizneechic! I admit I thought about indicating CL with a *, but just didn't, so now that you have suggested this, I will definitely go back and do that! I'm on my BB now, and this will not be easy to do until I get on my home computer, which will be a few hours from now. So this evening, you will see a * pop up next to many names in the above list to indicate CL guests.

Mother-duaghter get away with youngest grandson. haven't told grandson - plan is to just tell him we are going away for the weekend and watch his face when we get to Disney. Can't wait!!!!!

I know you are flying because you live in N.Y. We went in October and will probably be going back October 2011 or October 2012. I love Poly, I stayed there back in the 80's. On our 2006 trip we ate at Ohana's and on our 2007 trip we toured the property again. Have fun!! We are excited for you all!!

You'd be surprised how many people from NY drive down! Many families (expecially the large ones) can't afford to fly, or choose not to spend the money on the travel part of their vacation. Some are AFRAID to fly (my dad will not go on any vacation that requires a flight, but will drive or sail just about anywhere). Others do it because they want to have their own car with them, or they simply enjoy the drive, so they make an adventure out of the trip.

I got my family hooked on the Poly in 2001, when I brought them to dinner at 'Ohana and we watched EWP and fireworks from the dock. Next time, DH insisted we stay there. It's been a love affair between us and the Poly ever since. Do I read this as you are going to WDW on July 29th, but not staying at the Poly? Thanks!

You will love WDW, This will be our fifth trip, and most the time we are eating or shopping at the POLY, at least this time I won't waste time travelling to it, I will already be there....
