Poly Or Swith To Bc For $900 Less?

I think for you it all comes down to money and that's almost $1000! Wow!

Ok I'm going to play devils advocate here.
That's the big question OP. Vacations in my life are very important so some times for me money is not always the primary factor. Do you have your heart set on the Poly? If you do and your not on a budget, stay where your heart tells you. If it doesn't matter either way, go for the savings.
When Dh & I took our anniversary trip, I wanted the Grand Floridian concierge and that's where my heart was set. No amount of savings would have changed my mind and it was well worth it.
While I agree all the disney resorts are very nice and have great qualities, IMO there is nothing worse than being on vacation, wishing you were staying some where else.

I understand where you are coming from and in your case it was a special trip and you were paying premium for Luxury (which I would have done the same). In my case, this is comparing 2 deluxe resorts both with standard rooms. I was just trying to see if anyone could help me justify paying an add'l $900 (basically for the monorail). It looks like I will be changing my ressie to the BC.

Thanks everyone for your imput!

IMHO, with a toddler, I'd stick with the Poly. That's how we got hooked on the Poly. You can't beat the monorail with little ones. $900 is a lot of $$$ though. We are trying the WL this year b/c we got a good AAA discount there.

If it's a once in a lifetime trip, or if you won't be going back for awhile, I'd say spend the extra $$ if your heart is set on the Poly. One reason we went ahead and switched to the BC is because we go every year, usually 2 times. So, we can stay at the Poly the next time when there is an AP discounted rate. If we weren't going back for a couple of years, I wouldn't have switched.

As I said in my earlier post, no matter which you choose you'll have a great time because IMHO these are the 2 best resorts on property!
