We have reservations for the POLY, but we hear of extensive renovations and may want to consider the BWI. I do not want o disappoint my DW and DS's.

We would like to hear from anyone as to their preferences, the good the bad and the ugly.

Thanks.

Both the BWI and the Poly are great resorts! I stayed at the Poly in August of 2003, and loved it. Stayed at the BWI in Dec. of 2003 (and the Villas just a few weeks ago). I prefer the location of the BWI better than the Poly because you can walk to two parks, and you have a wide array of dining options within walking distance. But, depending on how old your kids are, the Poly may make more sense. If you are planning on spending alot of time at the Magic Kingdom, you can't beat the monorail or boat ride.

this is possibly the most difficult question ever asked :p

these two are our favorite resorts!

If your kids were younger I'd say the Poly. But 10 and a teen, I think they'll enjoy the fun on the Boardwalk, the cool slide at the pool, and ESPN Club. You can get a booth with video games - just ask your server for the controls. My kids LOVED ESPN and Beaches and Cream at the BC is just a short walk and their ice cream treats are awsome. You can't go wrong with either resort though.

What is this about a booth with video games! :cool1: My kids would love that! How many people does a booth hold, do they take reservations, and do you request the booth w/video games when you make them?
Thanks! :flower:

As much as I love Poly, I vote for the BW :goodvibes the slide is AWESOME, the nightly entertainment is nifty, the restaurants are casual and convenient, and the proximity to Epcot and MGM can't be beat :cool1:

Just ask for a booth when you're being seated, a booth holds probably about 5 to 6 people...? I dont think ESPN takes reservations but the wait is usually not that long. When youre seated at a booth you'll see a tv in the wall with two controller ports. Just ask your server for two controllers and whichever game they are offering. :)

We havent tried it yet, but weve seen a few families play with it, very cool. Its a playstation system, by the way. :3dglasses
