I just changed my ressie for Sept for the 3rd and final time:rotfl: We are now staying at the Poly thanks to a 40% off bounceback offer:cloud9: :cloud9: :cloud9: So here is my question--We have myself and my friend and our daughters who are 2, 2, 2, and 1. Is there a certain building which would be best for easy access to the pool and monorail? Does anyone have any other request suggestions?
I would actually be happy with a blanket on the beach even:rotfl2:

There is a great site that you can google for information on the Poly - I don't think I can list it here. You can also pull up a map of the property at www.disney.com But in my experience all of the longhouses are great and none are really as far as you think from things. The ones closet to the TTC are the farthest from the pool and vice versa. Although it seems spread out it is much easier to get around than you probably think.

Enjoy your trip!

You are going to LOVE the Poly . We had our first stay at the Poly last September and absolutely loved it :goodvibes. We stayed in Samoa, which we thought was very convenient to everything. We requested Samoa, first floor, volcano pool side (in that order) and we got 2 out of 3 (we faced the quiet pool which was actually very nice). They offered to move us to the main pool side the next morning but we decided to stay put and it was just as nice :cutie:. The rooms are very big so you should have plenty of room with all the little ones ;). The beach is a great place to watch the fireworks and then it's an easy walk back to your room without fighting the crowds to get out of the MK :scared1:. The Poly is a fantastic place to stay....it's just an awesome resort :). Plus the girls might also like playing on the beach :yay:. Congrats on getting such a great deal on the Poly :dance3:. Have a magical trip :wizard:.

Samoa is great, right next to the GCH and Volcano Pool. It is a bit longer to the TTC, but not too far. We've only been lucky enough to get Samoa once. The other times we've stayed in Tokelau (our second request). You're gonna love it!. My little girls love everything about it. The beach, the pool, the slide (your's might be too little for the slide) the atmosphere...sigh...makes me wish we would have booked the Poly instead of WL...oh well, gotta break free and try something new.

Have a great time!

Samoa would be a great choice. I prefer Tokelau for being in between the TTC and the GCH. You really can't go wrong though.

The only buildings I don't care for are the Western ones: Tuvalu, Fiji. and Aotearoa, as I wouldn't want to be too close to the luau.

The resort is smaller than it looks on the maps.

My children's favourite thing about the Poly, aside from the GCH and the zero-entry pool, was watching the fireworks and Electrical water Pageant every night on the beach. Also try and catch the torch lighting ceremony. Another great thing about the Poly is taking the boat over to the MK and back. We found it quicker than the Monorail.

I am so sad I can't afford to go back to the Poly next trip :-(. I am hoping for a good bounceback coupon.
