Poly@MVMCP here we come!!!!!

We have stayed at the Polynesian Concierge a few times over the years but have never stayed there without our 2 daughters. We will be staying in LVC in Hawaii from Dec.11th-14th. and I'll post a report when we get back. Happy Holidays everyone!!!!! Chip@Janet.

I'm staying at the Polynesian for the 1st time from 12/16 to 12/20!! I'll be at the MVMCP on the 16th and 17th, I can't wait!!!

Let us know how it goes. I already dislike the thought of going without our children. How will you change your activites without children? Will you do more restaurants? One thing, it'll be cheaper!

I'm going to Poly (LV) next Friday! We're there from the 3rd to the 11th, with MVMCP on the 9th. I too will post my review upon my return, both of the Poly and a full trip report.

Tikiman, I'll keep an eye out for construction too, and try to take pictures if you want.

dpic, it's not always cheaper without kids! BF and I are child-free, and you wouldn't believe what we are spending! What you save in meals and "but momma, I really want this!" purchases, you can spend on tours, spa treatments, room service, and nicer "adult" restaurants!

Thanks Chicago526. I agree you can spend more without kids. We spent about $1000 just on VERY good meals. We love to try all the great food and I am sure when we go with kids we won’t be eating like that.

We'll be at the Polynesian fro the 17-19th and are going to MVMCP on the 17th.

It will be our 10th MVMCP and our 5th stay at the Poly. Maybe we'll see you there!

Hey Dan to be honest we've never went anywhere without the kids so at this time we're in the planning stage even though it's getting close. To be honest we both feel guilty not taking the kids even though they have finals in school and didn't really want to go anyway. Believe it or not our oldest Brittany which is 16 says that Elizabeth and her are burned out on WDW.. I was SHOCKED!!!! LOL!!!. I think what it comes down too is that it's no longer COOL for them as they have both reminded my wife and I . To answer your question on meals and activities. We'll probably be at a more leasure pace at the parks and do some ADULT meals which for us will be a first. Sorry this is long!! Happy Holidays, Chip@Janet

We're going to be at the Poly GVC 12/14-12/19. I can't wait! Our kids will be with us, but we have gone without them and loved every minute of it!
