When you make your ADR, you need to give a credit card number.

Question: when is the card charged? Immediately making the reservation, or at the actual time of the dinner?

it depends. If you make your ADR online they will charge the card at the time of booking. If you call the ADR phone nember they just hold the spot with yiur charge card

Why is that? That doesn't seem fair.

I'm not sure why however if you are on the dining plan and you wish to use that and you booked online when you get your tickets tell them you want it on the dining plan and they will reverse the charges on your credit card. Unfortuntaly you will be paying intrest on your cc unless you pay it off. I just did it online and called the ADR # and that's what they told me.

I did an ADR here and I am paying out of pocket.

They have charged my credit card already. What do I show to prove I already ordered the dinner? Are there tickets or do i just give my reservation number?
