Poly Houses

Are any of the Houses at the Polynesian completely Non-Smoking? My DD has asthma and allergies and needs total smoke free if possible.

I might be wrong, but Niue is the only smoking longhouse now.

Be prepared for lots of smoke outside, though. For some reason the Poly seems to have lots of puffing outside. I have written Disney repeatedly and asked that they make the huge pool area non-smoking on one side, so smokers and non-smokers alike know where to camp, but to no avail. I get the canned response that the restaurants are all smoke free (so?)

In general, it seems the farther from the pool bar the less smoke. The place is gorgeous and I love it, but be prepared to do some "escaping" from smokers nearby. It always seems that no matter where we sit, someone sits next to us and starts smoking. I did notice fewer ashtrays on tables this trip.

You are correct about Niue being the only all "smoking" longhouse (only 22 rooms total in the whole building)......but, the Concierge longhouse (Hawaii) also has some smoking rooms in it too.

Stay away from those two and your daughter will be fine!

Aotearoa , Fiji, Rarotonga,Samoa , Tokelau
, Rapa Nui ,& Tahiti are all non smoking...
