I've seen some pictures where the rooms are facing the GCH and the monorail. My DS is a monorail fanatic and that is our 1st priority in room request.

Rarontonga, Aetearoa, and Rapa Nui all have rooms that have views of the monorail. I'd request a "monorail view" on your reservation if I were you. While I know you realize it's only a request, it certainly can't hurt to have it noted. :)

We've been in rarotonga & aoretaoea, but aoretaoea (sp?) was the best.:thumbsup2 The way the monorail line goes it seemed closer to the building from there. No problem with the noise either. Barely new when it was going by unless we watched it. Although, our cell phones would cut out once and a while when it was going by, for some reason?

We've stayed in Raratonga. It was very close to the bus stop & GCH. If we are booking a GV we always ask for this one.

Aotearoa would be the best to ask for...Ask for 3rd floor Aotearoa.

Thanks, everyone, but the kids just unanimously voted for for the CR Theme Park View again. Oh, well. I'll make it back to the Poly one day. At least we'll be eating at 'Ohana and the Luau!
