My post was a sarcastic post just on how generic the building looks and it just matches what's been popping up all around the country.
I just watched this great video by Wendover Productions that talks about the homogenization of architecture in America and it goes in depth about the surge of "5 over 1" building design, which is essentially what this new Poly building seems to adhere to.
Just look at the Gran Destino and Riviera Towers. Gone are the days where you have elaborate architecture... now it's just a generic structure with themed accents.
Anyway, I am truly hoping that this really is just a placeholder concept art because it really breaks with the aesthetics of The Poly.
