Maybe they will be bringing back DME.....Where on earth does parking go? Isn't that the golf course right there? I guess you're parking at the TTC and walking...

Did they announce that VGF2 would not have the resale restrictions right away? I remember that there was debate about it at the time of the announcement. But they didn’t say it would be like they did from the initial announcement with VGF2.
It leads me to believe that it’s not yet 100% decided and they are going to give themselves time to decide or change course before more specifics are revealed.
New build could go either way. It could also be intentional to push people direct just in case because now you do have a future DVC resort possibility.
There better not be a single studio of any type in the new building. Wishful thinking, I know...Not to mention the "Well, the point charts will be terrible". I shudder to think about everyone's outrage at the lack of "Resort Studios" when the charts come out...
I'd even rank it over WL or AKL as a unique and beautiful space.

Well, it seems as though Reflections has found its new home . . . .
They didn't specifically say that there would be no resale restrictions at VGF2 but there was no way to add it to the VGF1 condo association with a separate POS that applied restrictions to only VGF2 points.Did they announce that VGF2 would not have the resale restrictions right away? you jinked itThat stinks never got there and was looking forward to taking the kids there eventually. Next they will say Hoop De Doo is going forever and continue the trend of eliminating unique aspects of Disney World.
Agree with you in bold. I hope for a new restaurant and it is better looking than the original Poly tower drawings from 2014(?) I remember there being 2 T-shaped towers. The new renderings do remind me of a mashup of Reflections, the new Disneyland Tower and Aulani.I'm very happy about this. I actually called this almost a year ago in another thread but I think others have said it as well. It will give poly an opportunity for a true signature dining and not just the family style Ohana. As for the artist renderings, if you want to see ugly...go check out what the original Polynesian tower that never got built was supposed to look like. I don't know about you, but I've never been sitting in a resort pool or in my nicely appointed room and thought, "Damn they really dropped the ball on adding more theming to the outside of this building." Oddly enough I think the building looks like a resort hotel you might find in a warm vacation destination...like say Hawaii.
They announced it was the same association immediately. But, there were some who were not sure if they could still restrict. We now know they can’t.
They already have announced plans to move the road through the golf course around the Grand Floridian convention center. That will make room for parking.Where on earth does parking go? Isn't that the golf course right there? I guess you're parking at the TTC and walking...
New York, New York is a perfect example of applying too much theming to too much mass.I disagree with you in italics. If a building is ugly I have thought that at the pool before. Mostly in Vegas where I do find some exteriors attractive and others ugly. Maybe they're keeping it sort of transitional since one would be going from VGF to Poly longhouses, and this is sort of a transitional light tropical theme?
It stops at the new one, but only if you paid for Monorail+Is it possible it could have its own monorail station? A guy can dream right?
Yeah, they need to drop those resale restrictions on RIV if all they are going to do is add to existing condo associations for every resort at WDW.
Good point. Although since there are so few DVC available in California I do not think the resale restrictions will be any kind of issue.won't they be forced to make a decision with DLT?
