Poly Concierge called today, Im sooo excited!

I havent even sent back my planning itinerary yet. Tara from Island planning called while DW & DS were grocery shopping (Whew! still a secret). Wanted to know if I had any questions

Hi, I was just curious if you booked your reservation directly with Disney, or went through a travel agent? I went through a travel agent, and I was the one who contacted the Poly concierge dept. via email, and filled out the form online and sent it back. But I did tell her that I would get back to her with my credit card for the Hoop Dee Doo, and haven't heard back from Tara with either an email or phone call. I just hadn't had time, I've been out of town a couple of times since I last emailed her. I was just wondering what the policy was regarding who they contact and when. What dates are you going to be there? We will be there Oct 23-30th. Thanks! Kelly Powell, Alaska

We got the call last week (while we were in Las Vegas). When we picked up our vacation mail, there was our Personal Vacation Itinerary!

Kelly, we booked directly through Disney - we were up early than morning in May when FTP was first available to non-DC folks. As you can see, we're there about 3 weeks before you (10/1-10/8). I wouldn't let another week or so bother you, but after that I'd make another effort to get in touch with Tara.

Hi, i booked direct thru CRO. We are going 10/8 - 10/13. Today we are 90 days out. I rec'd planning itinerary about 10 days ago. When i booked was told concierge would call me about 90 days out. Sam in NJ (how is the weather?)

I booked through a travel agent, and I got the call from Concierge directly...along with mail and email.

Tara has done a great job for me, making sure everything is take care of.

alaskantwinks---Since you said you'd call back, she may be waiting for you to make contact...don't know. It sounds like Tara is handling a lot of people, so my be overwhelmed by everybody taking advantage of the FTP.

Just to let you know, I went ahead and called and got Tara this morning and made our "Hoop Dee Doo" reservations, and got some other questions answered. Tara was very nice and helpful. I am still trying to decide on a character breakfast, I'm thinking maybe the Chef Mickey one. suggestions? We have an 11 yr old girl and a going to be 8 at the end of this month boy. So far we have Hoop Dee Doo on Saturday 10/25, and MNSSHP on Sunday 10/26. I would like to make a dinner reservation for one "adult" dinner for my husband, MIL and myself, and that night we would leave the kids at the Neverland club, but I can't decide which night to do that. We'll be there until the 30th, which is when we embark on the 3 night Wonder cruise!! Can't wait. I'm also trying to decide whether we should do Universal somewhere in the first 5 days we are going to be in Orlando, we are renting a house when we first get there before we move onsite. Suggestions? Comments? Kelly
