Can you book these, or do you have to be DVC owner? These suites are new to me and look amazing!

They are often available for cash rental via Disney. Calling works better than online.

Rack rate in low season is $2556/night.

And they only have two real beds, one king bed, one queen bed. Plus two twin sized murphy beds and a queen sleeper sofa.

If they are available they will show up online just like any other available room. When I was planning our upcoming trip it showed availability for the Bungalows. I must admit I had a little jolt of excitement when I saw it and I was so tempted!! But it only took a few second for reality to kick in and I realized I would prefer being able to pay our bills!!

Hey, that $2500+ is in low season.

It's pricier in high season, going all the way up to $4302 for holiday.

We have booked them for a couple nights as a cash reservation but there aren't many available. They're ok, but not really worth the money. For the same price you can stay in a club level suite at GF or CR!

WOOOOOOOOOOO I love Disney I do but for that price I'll stay in a regular room...

For the life of me I don't understand the draw............yeah watching the fireworks must be cool....but when your at WDW how much time are you really spending at the resort? You can pay for a weeks stay at a moderate for that price. Hey I don't begrudge anyone who choose to stay in one...........if you can do it...........go for it. I would think that's a very limited group........maybe I'm wrong.

We spend more time at the resort than the parks, so it is a draw for us.

If it is 11 months in advance you could try to rent points via a site like David's. It would be cheaper but you won't get mousekeepimg everyday. You can have DDP if wanted. Use ME etc. You can read on the terms on his site. Might work out more affordable if the terms are agreeable to you.

It actually isn't much cheaper, if at all, for the bungalows. For us in August, it was $5610 to rent points for two nights, or $2500/night directly from Disney.

Really? How surprising might as well take the flexibility with Disney then. If you do opt for this. A friend of mine stated there and they loved it. They stayed on their DVC points though.

They look amazing and we looove Disney, but I have to think you may actually be able to stay in Bora Bora Tahiti for that nightly price. No hidden Mickeys there though;)

They block the once awesome beach view of the MK, they look so tempting yet only come with 2 real beds so would never work for our family, they are too pricey for just DH and me............

.....mostly because they detract from the resort as it once was and can cause a vague sense of dissatisfaction that niggles at you.

I have walked thru them, I'm with others they really don't do much for me. When I go into DVC and check availability the bungalows are available all the time, no need to book them 11 months out, even on many busy times like Easter there is days available, Christmas time last year they were days available. I think Disney has the price to high, otherwise for all those who want to stay would stay. I just don't get it, make what 20 but then only fill 10 and leave the rest empty, they never upgrade anyone to a bungalow, would it not be better for them to drop the price and have them filled. At least by those who would want to rent them. My resort is Poly and I just feel that I lose money as a DVC because so many are unoccupied every night, but I know it does not work that way, and I'm not losing anything.
