Poly bungalows

Why????

The only people that I could imagine liking the bungalows are the people who are staying in them. Other than that, who could possibly like them? They aren't particularly attractive. They block the view of the lagoon from much of the beach and longhouses like Hawaii and Moorea. I used to love staying LV club level at the Poly but would never consider paying those prices for the diminished view the Hawaii building now has. The 1st and 2nd floor views are ruined and even the 3rd floor view is nowhere near as nice as it used to be. I can only assume that people that aren't bothered by the bungalows are not long time Poly fans. Of course I could be wrong. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion of course but I just can't imagine anyone thinking "boy I sure do like looking at the backside of those ugly little pizza hut looking shacks more than that beautiful unobstructed view of the lagoon and MK we used to have!"

would it not be better for them to drop the price and have them filled.

They cannot drop the points required for DVC there without raising the points on all other units. Has to do with condo association rules in DVC. If they discount them heavily cash, this will irritate the DVC owners. The dues for upkeep are paid whether they are filled or not.
