Poly - Best Gerden Room

Hi,

The best garden room all depends on your preferences. When my adult sons stay at the polynesian they like to be as close the the pool and 'action' as possible. So, they request Somona main pool side view. The other side of Somona is a bit quieter and overlooks the quiet pool.

Tahiti has nice garden views also ... but is a longer walk to the main lobby and main pool ... but very close the Ticket and Transportation center.

Those are the two bldgs I have experience with.

I saty at the Hawaii building. It's a short walk from the pools and the main building. The bad thing about it is if you want to go to the Luau it is a far walk from Luau Cove.

We stayed in the Hawaii building, which is concierge. We stayed in the garden view side to save a few $ and I never regretted it. It was a ground floor room, I think 1524. I loved it. They were actually working on the quiet pool, which would have been our view. Instead, we had a nice quiet patio where we ate our breakfast. It was sunny and our DDs played in the grass. We didn't have a lot of people walking in front of our room, so it felt more private than I had thought it would. Check tikiman's website for all the info you could possibly need on the Poly! http://tikiman2001.homestead.com/

I had this room and it was amazing!!! Although it is listed as a "garden" room, I could see the lagoon and the Grand Floridian from my bed. I was great to sit on the patio early in the morning and view everything. It's also near the quiet pool and not a bad walk to the main pool, the main building and the monorail. It's a little longer of a walk to the TTC and to the boat launch. It was also a very quick walk to the beach, which came in handy to watch the fireworks & electrical water parade. This was a great room and I really enjoyed staying there. Found it very quiet and there was not much traffic passing by. Below are the pictures of and from the room.

Add another vote for Tokelau!

We were thrilled because it was in the middle of everything and directly next to the quiet pool. It was very, very convenient and we had a lovely view of the interior of the resort.

HI ; THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR HELP

We have stayed in Tokeleu, Hawaii, Figi and Samoa. Our favorite location is Samoa facing the quiet pool. Nice central location, quiet, beautiful views from either side. Nice to be close to the pool and GCH. It was only a few minute walk to bus stop, laundry, game room etc.

Wow, I'm surprised to see all these votes for Tokelau! Usually when this question is asked everyone says Samoa and Fiji. I need to check into this!!! ;)

I found it to be about 3-5 minutes to get to the main building/food area/monorail/main pool, a minute to get to the quiet pool and about a 10 minute walk to the TTC. Please remember that the monorail to EPCOT does not start running until 7:30am and I found it quicker to grab the resort monorail (that starts at 7am) to the TTC, then grabbing the one to EPCOT. If you get to the TTC by 7:30am, you have a great chance of getting a seat up front. I did this one morning that I was waiting for the park to open early. There was maybe 3 people waiting before 7:30am and I made sure to ask a CM. I got to ride in the front to Epcot, back to the TTC, then back to EPCOT. It was beautiful approaching EPCOT that early, because the sun was rising over World Showcase and reflecting of Imagination. Back to the resort. Tokelau is a non-smoking building. I found the walk to be about 5-8 minutes from the boat launch, which is a nice alternative to the monorail from the Magic Kingdom When I made my reservation with CRO, I specifically asked for this room, called about a month prior to confirm, then 5 days prior faxed a room request, then called the day before to confirm one more time. The CM could not say the exact room number, but confirmed I received my requests.

We liked the 3rd floor of Raratonga overlooking the Quiet Pool. Can't remember the 1st 2 digits in the room number, but the last 2 were 1 and 3.

Thank You So Very Much For Taking The Time And For All The Info

Take Care , God Bless
