Poly and reservation question

Our plans have changed yet again and now we are at the Poly for our July vacation. We have changed several times now. Does anyone else do this? We just can't make up our mind. We went from WL to Contemporary to Poly. Hopefully this is our last change. Anyway, the last time we stayed at the Poly was about 5 years ago. Have they refurbished the rooms since then? Also, on our reservation, it says Garden View (PB). What does the PB mean? I told my husband that it must mean that we are either getting our very own Personal Butler or our very own Pool Boy. Does anyone know what it really means? One more question--Is Garden view the lowest room rate at the Poly? I know we had garden view at CR but there was standard below that but we read that the view of a garden view at the Poly could be the parking lot. Just wondering. Thanks!!

All the rooms have been renovated at the Polynesian and as for what (PB) stands for, my guess it's the code for regular Garden View rooms. My family and I have a reservation at the Polynesian in December in a Garden View - King Kamehamea Club Concierge room and we have a code that end which says (PM).

As for your other question looking at the rates for 2007, it looks like the Garden View rooms at the Contemporary are less expensive then the ones at the Polynesian. Yes they have refurbished all the rooms. Now the rooms have flat screen tv's, fridges and new lighting. It's very pretty, we stayed in Tahiti and LOVED IT! Tahiti's rooms are bigger than any other ones at the polynesian except the higher up ones. As for what PB means, ill look in to it.

If ya change again, and the dates are between 13july and 17july 07. Let me know asap so I can get me my room. I'm absolutely dying to stay at the poly again.

Our vacation plans morph many times from initial plannning until we go. For example, when we started planning this year, we were going for 9 days in mid August and splitting our stay at the AKL and the Poly. These plans have changed several times. Final result: We are going late June/Early July for 11days and splitting our stay between the YC and the Poly.
