Hi all. We will be staying at the Poly in March. My elderly mom is coming with me and needs a wheelchair to get around to see things. She does not do stairs. Is the Poly all wheelchair friendly. We do not need an accessible room, but we would need an elevator and ramps to get where we need to go.
So my question really is--are all of the guest rooms(buildings) built with an elevator or should we request a first floor room? Sorry for the rambling and thank you all for your help.

Yes, the entire Poly grounds are very WC/ECV friendly.

Requesting a first floor room might not be a bad idea, however, as then you are not tied into having to wait for an elevator everytime you want to go anywhere. We had a first floor HA room in Tahiti longhouse in December, and my DF loved being able to just pick up and go without waiting. He also loved the short 'walk' from our patio to the swing on the beach--I think he could have been happy just spending most of our vacation at the resort itself.

My daughter also has a wheelchair and we satyed at the Poly last June and will also be staying this march...i found it ti be very wheelchair friendly and once u find ur way around (its a big place!!) its pretty smooth sailing!!! Have fun on ur trip!!:cool1:
