Can someone tell me if the Poly and AK standard rooms sleep 5 like the CRs do?

Thanks-
Donna

AKL only sleeps 4 but they will bring a port-a-crib for children under 2- but the rooms are much smaller than Poly. The Poly, Grand Floridian, BoardWalk Inn, Beach Club and Yacht Club (as well as CR) all have rooms available with the day bed option- Port Orleans Resort has a trundle bed if you're looking at moderates. Hope this helps!!

We have 5 and are staying at the AKL. A deluxe room will allow it with a queen, bunk beds and day bed.....or 2 queens and a day bed. We stayed at the Polynesian last time, and from what I hear and read, the AKL deluxe is slightly smaller. :D

I've stayed at both, and the rooms at the AKL are considerably smaller. I think five in an AKL deluxe room would be very tight. DH and I were in a deluxe room that had a chair in place of the daybed, and it felt tight even then.

The rooms at the Poly feel very spacious.

The only downfall is the bathrooms. At the Poly the sink is in the same room as the toilet and tub. At the AKL the baths are split.

The Polynesian rooms are about 410 square feet and will sleep 5 with a nice big daybed.
The Animal Kingdom Lodge standard rooms ar about 360 square feet and sleep only 4. The deluxe rooms at the AKL are arouns 380 square feet and some of them sleep 5 but they cost quite a bit more and are not discounted often, if at all.
