Polls and abbreviations

I'm not new here but sometimes I feel new because I dont know how to do everything on these boards or always know exactly what all the abbreviations mean...

I am curious as to how to make polls and also, is there a post that list abbreviations commonly used on the boards?

As for polls they are pretty self explainatory. This set up really just walks you through it. You can use the Test Board to try it out if you want. The test board is the bottom of the main page under the technical forum.
