So there were no penalties involved?I got through in 45 minutes, they originally said 47 minutes so that was very accurate. I moved it to Sept 19th, Halloween on the high seas. At least we now have a verandah to sit on if this crap continues.![]()

Hoping here also. We're scheduled to set sail 2/18 on Wonder (Caribbean) - I think this variant is blazing through, and it will settle before it's time to go. (Or at least that's what I'm hoping ... )
Can you then cancel the moved cruise without a penalty?nope, that is as long as I don’t cancel. Then it would cost me half of the cruise fare because I was already within 60 days of my original date of departure
No, since that poster is already within the penalty period for the original cruise, she will lose the equivalent of the original cancellation penalty (she says 50%) if the new cruise is cancelled. Can you then cancel the moved cruise without a penalty?

i had heard the phone waits were long, glad to see it wasn’t for you.
The funny thing while I was on hold using my cellphone by son starting texting me about his cat being sick. Apparently I'm a wannabe vet.
I didn't want to risk losing the half hour I had already wasted on hold so I grabbed our landline phone. He obviously didn't answer my call because it was an unknown number. He then called back on the landline and I couldn't figure out how to answer the phone! #firstworldproblems.
sounds a lot like my world. When I gave my husband an iPad a few years ago I never realized I would become his lifetime IT support. He can’t even change his password himself. So I bought him Alex & Echo Show and tell him to ask them…didn’t help. Now I’m the IT support person for 2 more devices….![]()
I can’t see how they could make an exception to the Sept. 2022 deadline--everyone would want one!We want to move our February 2022 cruise further out, but we used a placeholder that expires September 2022. we want to push our cruise to May 2023. We are wondering if our placeholder can stay with the reservation. This is mostly because we already have 3 cruises booked for 2022, so 2023 is our only option to a future date. I’m impatiently waiting to hear back from my TA. She had to check with dcl for clarification When we spoke yesterday.
also wondering if a VGT cruise will fall under this new flexibility offer. We may grab something last minute if things start to turnaround. But we know VGT has a lot of restrictions So need to know our options. Ugh. Add being a dvc member and rearranging points that have to be used by March 31, 2022 doesn’t make changing very easy. I’m in the use or lose phase of my 175 points wrapped around this Feb-March 7 night cruise.
I waited over 3 hours on Sunday. Probably best if you can avoid weekends, but I am on work calls all day so the weekdays never work out for me. The CM once I got through was wonderful though--some CMs really make your day because they are so positive and upbeat and get your really excited for your cruise.i had heard the phone waits were long, glad to see it wasn’t for you.

I get that if you have kids. When my girls were in the kids club you couldn't drag them out of there.I'm canceling, not because of the CDC guidelines, but moreso due to the current restrictions. The biggest issue for me is the kids activities. Having to prebook a limited amount of time in the kids club is disappointing. I also have a child nursery age, so I'd rather wait until that is open again. I'm also concerned about ports changing last minute and limited excursions.
