We are going to be on the deluxe dining plan in Sept and I can't decide what to do for a Magic Kingdom lunch. We are eating at Cape May Cafe that night for dinner so I don't want to be too full but I also want to get value out of the dining plan. Thanks!!!

Oh I just loooooove liberty tree!!!!! Esp the dinner. But lunch is great too! That would be my first vote. 2nd vote goes to Plaza. But I would never recommend anyone go to Tony's. Awful awful restaurant. Gross food. Yuck!
I understand why you wouldnt choose CP, you'd be too full to eat at Cape May! Smart! :upsidedow

LTT for sure! We just love lunch there. Tony's would be my second choice since the food there is also good and it's fun to sit outside. I wouldn't recommend the Plaza. I've personally never been there but have heard so many negative things.

Other: on our way out of the park for our afternoon break, I'd go to Kona Cafe, or maybe the Wave at the Contemporary.

I prefer lunch rather than dinner at LTT! It's nice to sit and cool down while haivng lunch! (we go June and Aug)

Of what's on your poll, I'd choose the Plaza. It's a very casual place, almost a counter service-type environment, but with the benefits and bump in quality of a table service establishment. It also serves the most consistently satisfying menu inside of the park.

All of that being said, it's really nothing spectacular. I'd much rather hop on the monorail and go to the Kona Cafe and the Grand Floridian Cafe for lunch. Sure, it's a little inconvenient to leave the parks, but you're going to get better menus and better quality for your money/credits than anything you can find inside of the parks.

We really enjoyed the Plaza. I've never eaten at LTT and Tony's is the worst.

We actually love both the Plaza and LTT for lunch. The Plaza has great sandwiches and yummy ice cream sundaes for dessert. LTT has this salad that I love so much I make it at home (one of the servers gave me the recipe for the salad and the dressing!). Either of these you can't go wrong...and both are good "light" options over a big lunch or buffet.:thumbsup2

I have only been Tony's and LTT when it was still character meal. I will say your post inspired me to find an ADR for the Plaza. I want to try it. I have always said I don't think MK has enough sit down restauarants.

LTT is my all-time favorite lunch. Colony Salad, and Ooey Gooey toffee cake for dessert.
