What is your favorite Harry Potter book? And does that differ from your favorite movie?


For me, my favorite book is Order of the Phoenix but I liked Prisoner of Azkaban the movie better...

I can't wait either!!! I am really REALLY hoping it'll be open when we go in April because we probably won't be able to go back to the area until December 2012

I'd have to say GOF is my favorite movie too but the last 2 have been good as well!

Phoenix is my favorite book. I think it gave the best insight into the characters. Half Blood Prince was good, but predictable.

On first read, my favorite book was PofA. It was just so exciting to read that and find out all the revelations that occurred in the book.

On multiple reads, my favorites are GoF or Deathly Hallows.

As for movies, easily, my favorite is PofA. Alfonso Cuaron just made an amazing film.

I honestly can't even watch GoF very often because I think it's terrible. I was very very disappointed in Half-Blood Prince because the entire tone of the last quarter of the movie was entirely blown.
