Okay, I just heard from an aquaintance who recently returned from a cruise on the Wonder. I was kind of surprized at one of her comments... Then I started thinking that I have heard similar comments a couple times before.
This is basicly what she said...
As far as the fellow passengers...I don't know how to say it without sounding sterotypical and snobbish. To be blunt, and please, please, please don't be offended, my husband described it best as trailer trash. Again I'm not trying to be rude but just the definition of what it means. There were people that we kept bumping into that were rude, pushed in an obvious long line, didn't correct their kids when they knocked someone down, or bumped into me, etc. There were some others that were not well groomed. It is one thing to be poor, but to be dirty? I don't want to focus on the negative because there was so much positive. I was just surprised because Disney is so much more expensive that we ran into some of the people we did. I guess money doesn't equal manners....
I tend to believe what this person says... And, I really do not think that they were being 'snobby' at all ! They have been on other cruises... like Carnival and other lines... so they are speaking from experience.
I am thinking that there may a difference between cruises on the Wonder and the 7 nite cruises on the Magic???
So, for all of you experienced DCL cruisers... What is your true opinion??? I am posting a poll for those of you who would like to vote anonymously. But, I would really like to hear your comments as well!!!
