So basically what you're asking is if we'd do it again at today's prices? Of course!

Some Disney folks might be on here and see these results; it's OK by me, as long as they can make me the same age in 2040 that I am now!

I plan to buy points in 2040 at my actual age in that year! Got to get ready for my birthday bash in 2042.

Sure Would! If the price was $72 in 2042 that would be quite a steal with 41 years of inflation in the meantime. You got me to thinking, so I made a little spreadsheet to see what a deluxe room would cost per night in 2042 (purely hypothetical). If a deluxe room is $350 a night this year with a 10% increase each year in 2042 one night would be $14,400.67. Wow! 200 points at $72 is $14400.00. It would be cheaper to buy DVC than to stay one night at a deluxe resort. I even tried an 8% increase and a room will cost $7,040.35 a night in 2042. Even if I lowered this year's rate to $300 it ended up being over $6,000 a night at 8%. Boy am I glad that I bought DVC! By the way, I tried it with a moderate price of $150 a night and in 2042 it will be $3,017.30 a night! I know that inflation is not 8% but I have read that Disney has been raising rates on the average 8% - 12% a year depending on season and accomodations. (Note: Even with a 3% inflation rate a $300 a night room will cost nearly $1,000 a night by then.)

Well, at the end of this contract I would be 66 yrs old... and that's young!

Another 50! I might be a little too old at the ripe old age of 116 to truely enjoy the Rockin' Roller Coaster!

who have voted. The results, I must admit, are pretty much as I suspected they would be.

Which brings me to my next poll ...

I voted I don't know simply because there are too many variables. If I could go back in time, I'd definitely buy again at the age and situation as was then with children at the age they were. Without the passes and with the other information I now have and age of children, I can't be certain but likely not or at least far less points.
