Poll: Should V&A "expand" their menu???

While I do agree 3 choices is quite limited, even if they did increase it (when we were there last year there were 4 or 5 choices) chances are they would not have something "simple" V&A is equivilent to a 4 star restaurant and that is what they do best..make complex dishes w/ complex flavors. To change that would be compromising their establishment and what they are known for.

While the dress code is shi-shi, It is really the only place onsite like this and there are many other nice dining choices...it is whay you pay $150 pp.

My advice to those of you who are skeptical, you only live once...if you have the finances give it a try. If you do not like it- never do it or anythinglike it again. If you do enjoy it you will never see the culinary world with the same eyes again!!!!

I have always enjoyed V&A just as it is so I voted no change. I like to get a little dressed up and enjoy a couple of hours having a great meal, some good wine and enjoying the company of my guests.

BUt that's true--most guests at V&A are "once only" so any menu is new to them and change isn't even a concern.
The poll was in response to my interest in lots of previous posts where folks look at a sample menu and then wonder if they can find anything they like. So maybe a few more choices would help those folks get to V&A. Remember also--I did not remotely suggest a wholesale change, I'm aware of the fresh food quality standard at V&A ,the complex preparations, and the limited size of the kitchen. I think 1 or 2 additional entrees could easily be accomodated.
I guess my view is that a minor menu addition like that would attract more diners to this wonderful restaurant and still keep all the current V&A "traditions" alive and well.
Sidebar: Any V&A CM's reading this please don't yell at me next visit to V&A!!!!

Surely the whole point of dining at V&As is that you look at the menu and positively drool at its content - I know I do. If you even need to wonder whether you can find anything you like, then it really isn't for you. I have enough trouble choosing between the few options they have already - I don't need more choice!

I voted "no" by the way.
