Poll: Jambo or Kadani?

I'm planning a trip in Sept. with my sister. We'll be leaving DH at home and possibly bringing her coworker. We won't be spending much time in the parks so I'm trying to decide which AKV resort for two or three 40ish gals. I'd love any opinions on this. TIA

Thanks disneynutz! BWV is "home" but my sister really wants to stay at AKV. She originally had the idea to go elsewhere for vacation but since she's trying for the most economical trip possible and I offered "free" accomodations AKV was the deciding factor. DH and I only have one trip to WDW planned this year and I'm suffering from withdrawal thus the somewhat self-serving offer !

Are you in a 1-br?
If so, the Kidani units have 2 bathrooms, while the Jambo units have 1 bathroom. Could be a deciding factor.

I'd love to be staying in a 1BR, however can't justify the points difference. But you are right the second bath at Kidani would swing the vote!

My thoughts are in a studio its Jambo 1 or 2br Kidani, so since you are in a studio I voted Jambo

Jambo studios have 2 sinks, and their little kitchenette is a bit wider than the ones in the Kidani sample, so I would go with a Jambo studio.

Well, for starters, I would NEVER stay with 3 adults in a studio. I don't think there is a significant difference between the two locations and styles for Jambo or Kidani where the studio is concerned. Kidani is going to feel more exclusive at the moment, because thre wont be as many people staying there yet. It does feel nice and private. Of course, Jambo has Jiko....As long as you have a savanna view, I guess it wouldn't matter all that much. I do think the Kidani studios are a bit larger.

Ditto. Just got back from a week long stay at Jambo, and had a wonderful time! If I was getting a 1 or 2 BR, I'm with the others...maybe Kidani because of the extra bathroom.

From one Hope to another... I am all about convienence...Jambo hands down.

Well the poll evened out, 27/26 with Jambo House edging Kidani Village by one vote. In the end MS made the call and I have ressies 9/20-9/26 at Jambo House! Kidani was only available every other night so it was very easy to decide and I'm thrilled to be staying at a resort I've always loved visiting for a few hours. Thanks for everyone's input!

I'd choose Kidani over Jambo for the separate shower from the tub. Jambo has the shower/tub combo like in the studios.
