If the Harry Potter attractions get express will you do early entry when you are staying at Royal Pacific, Hard Rock or Portofino?

I have only done early entry if I remember correctly once in all the years I have gone to Universal.

I'am glad they will have EP on Potter rides.

Might not make the whole EE but we'd want some. Low crowds are just nice, not just short lines.

That's the only time we do the full queue for HP rides. We usually do single rider outside of EE. It sounds like the EP line might not have the full queue experience, which is amazing. However, if FJ's EP line is the castle tour line, then it will have most of the full queue. Plus, it's nice to be in WWOHP to do the interactive wands when the crowds are low. Might actually try and get breakfast there too. We never want to waste time doing breakfast when we could be riding.

Certain Harry Potter rides will NEVER get Express. This was sat when they signed up to build these areas. The author wanted to make sure that everyone was able to experience the interactive queue as they are part of the experience. Also where everyone is on the same level.

It is rare for me to do EE but have done it for meeting up with homies

I have a lengthy stay at the deluxe hotels so I take my time to get to get to The parks

Since I go solo most times I use srl
As it works well for me

I'm more of a night person and getting up at 7am
Is a struggle for me

Now if I was a newbie to the darkside , which once was back in the 90's, I did shorter stays and did hit the parks early

If you will have a short one or two night stay, EE is a necessity

August is our first Universal Trip. We will do EE to experience the queue.

The poll is about people who stay Deluxe.

but there is one thing to add in the mix.

Some posters speak about how empty EE would be if HP rides were to get EP
But Universal is building, and will continue to build, thousands of new rooms for hotels without EP

this means that, for the Potterheads at those hotels, EE will become quite important for riding HP rides. Much more important than it is today, with almost a 100% increase of the number of guests eligible for EE

EE will get busier as time passes. And this may sway a fair bit of Deluxe guests into giving up on EPs, or focusing on the other EE offerings, like Despicable Me when USO has EE.

I'm not staying at Deluxes, as I have assistance pass, it's of no benefit for us, EP wise, but if I were to, then I'd probably still do EE but at Volcano Bay, not at the *main* parks

Early entry for us is like 15 mins before the park opens anyway and doesn't happen very often. If they opened an entire park to EE then we would probably do it but if HP gets EP I don't see a real need to get up early. The deluxe resorts are so close to the action you can sleep in and still get to the park before the midmorning rush. EP makes it easier to stay through the midday crowds and still get a bunch of rides in. I want to stay out late and sleep in on vacation. I would rather have extra evening hours to be honest.

The only way I'll do EE anymore is if Universal decides to open the entire park for EE, not just the HP worlds (+ Minions on US EE days). HP ride lines are longer during EE than they are the rest of the day, IMO.

We do EE almost every day we go to the parks because my son is a true potterhead and wants to go on as much as possible. If (fingers crossed) this really happen for HP rides, I WILL NOT be getting up so early - he says he still is and I may go once early just to get some good pictures, but other than that nah. I will sleep in.

I will go EE for VB though and then cut out by lunch.

I always do EE. If I'm in Disney, I do EMH. My theme park strategy is be there as early as possible, take a midafternoon break and then head back to the park to close out the night. It works for me and mine!

Same for my husband and me! This is how we've always done Disney (and now Universal). When the kids were still young, we had to drag them out of bed, but it was worth it. We loved our afternoon breaks at the pool, and we loved how empty the parks were the first hour (or two).

No but we don't do them when we stay there now so I guess I probably don't count

My first trip last week and I loved it.
We didn't even ride rides, we loved a semi empty Diagon Alley for the kids to enjoy and do their spells. Look at all the details and talk with the cast and crew who run the shops.
I will once or twice do EE on my next trip. Guess I'm just a HP geek
