Usually I book it myself. Even with a AAA rate we booked through Disney since we weren't buying tickets.

I do everything myself..from the flights, room, passes, adrs..you name it!

I love the obsession of it all...I have a serious problem I think..

I do tons of research, and then book through AAA. If I had a code, I'd book online myself, but the best deal for us always ends up being a package through AAA.

Our first trip I booked through my local AAA office but that was before I found this site! I like having full control over everything. I think booking and planning are part of the fun. That said for our trip next February I booked our room through a DVC member and rented points to stay at AKV. Even though I don't have full control over my ressie it's just too good of a deal to pass up and I'm always looking for the best deal!!

We book through Fairytale Dreams & Destinations, for several reasons:

(1) Nobody knows more about Disney parks than they do IMO;
(2) I can contact them via email and/or phone;
(3) They are a Canadian travel agency, which is important to me;
(4) They absolutely pounce on any available discounts or deals for us immediately;
(5) They make all ADRs for us;
(6) Their services cost us nothing (Disney pays them);
(7) They're very friendly and helpful; and
(8) They are awesome and I'm thankful others referred them to us last year - we wouldn't book any other way now

Wow!!! That is exactly what my DSIL said about me last year...except for the Canadian part.

Book with Disney specialist agency other than Dreams Unlimited.

AAA travel last time. Mousesavers this time using a AAA room only code, then switched over to 4/3 deal when that was released last year.

We booked ourselves through Disney Travel. Booked everything all at once. So easy and stress-free. Last trip, we booked with AAA. Our agent was clueless about everything and we did not recieve our final doccuments until not quite a week before our trip. I was so stressing by that point.
