of all of the dvc resort studios, which do you think is the largest in size?

which is your favorite to choose and why?

just trying to get a consensus here...

I believe OKW has the largest studios in square footage, however they may "feel" smaller because the other resorts have a Queen bed and Full-size sleeper sofa. OKW has two real Queen-sized beds.

OKW is our favorite resort for studios, as it allows Mom & I to share a room, yet each have a real bed. We alternate visits between OKW studios and OKW 1 bedroom units.

I like the size of OKW and also like the fact that you can park right outside your room.

Our favorite studio so far has been in OKW - we usually travel with four of us, so having the extra room and the two regular beds rather than 1 being a pull-out couch is a huge plus for us. (plus....I just like OKW!)
The studio we had in Vero was nice, too. Seemed a bit larger than some of the other resorts.

Actually, the OP of a thread is the 'owner' of the thread and does have the option to make any regular thread into a poll, even after they've posted it.

Just click the Thread Tools drop-down listing and one of the choices will be to Make the thread into a Poll.

This option is only available to the thread's OP (and also to the mods), but is not available to anyone else who posts in the thread.

It's not necessary for the OP to create a NEW thread to make a poll

Without question, the largest sized studios are at HH. They're huge compared to the WDW DVC resorts.


At WDW the OKW studios are slightly larger, but since there's only two of us traveling, the extra bed really just gets in the way. For that reason, we prefer the studios at the other resorts (BWV, BCV, VWL, SSR) simply because they have the sofa 'sitting' area.

Of those we probably like VWL best because of the ambience of the resort and the decor of the rooms.

For a 1-B/R, OKW is by far our favorite simply because of how spacious it is. It really feels like a condo, whereas the others seem more like two connected hotel type rooms where one room is a bedroom and the other the living/kitchenette area).

We think OKW feels the largest. Not sure if this is due to the shape of the OKW studio or not but it feels roomier to us ? We've only stayed in OKW, BWV and VWL studios. Also we are at a point in our lives where we definitely appreciate the real bed vs the sofa pull-out. Maybe when it's just dh and I down the road, we'll prefer the sofa bed layout. We also feel the bathroom in OKW is bigger and prefer this as well.

Yep, OKW is the roomiest studios. I have not stayed at HH though.

OKW has the largest ones at WDW. We like the extra bed instead of the pull out sofa. I think the bath rooms at OKW are very spacious too.

which is your favorite to choose and why?...."1) BWV BW VIEW, best view guarantee and location, minimal dependency on buses 2) BCV for location, SAB, B&C, BW, Beach, minimal bus dependency and close mug/coffee refill and snack bar. 3) VWL for MK, Food Court, at least 1 less bus, Majesty and Lodge.

Would take a studio at anyone of these over a 1 BR at OKW or SSR.

depends upon what you want - more room, much bigger bathroom - OKW - when I am traveling with anyone I prefer OKW. When traveling solo I prefer the others.

the others are basically the same - it is where they are located that make the different - same layout for all the others.

the sofa in the room is very nice - but when you need the area for sleeping - then it can be a big pain....
