Yes - with some other reason
I am a single parent with no other parent in the picture. If I stayed home everytime my daughter woke up with a cough or sore throat I would not have a job. I know this is going to be a touchy subject. But employeers are not always very understanding of single parents. They may say they understand but dont always. Because there is a world of differece between 2 parents and also possibly 2 sets of familys to go along with that , that could help out. Snow days and late openings are also a sore subject. Life is not easy no matter what situation you are in. Its just 2 times hardier when your a single parent and both your own parents work. Now that my daughter is 7 its much easier she is not home as much. Early years were the toughest. And actually now my mother is home full time it helps.
