No, I need my rest and he is at one end of the house and I am on the other end! Suits me JUST FINE!:thumbsup2 I get up at 4am to go to work, so he can sleep...and snore away!;)

My DH was checked for sleep apnea and even had surgery but he still snores LOUDLY. We haven't slept in the same room for many years.

The only problem now is hotels. We try to find a suite but otherwise the trip is difficult. :(

Hmmm, next time we are at Disney..try to plan your trip to coincide with ours...you and I can share a room! I have the exact same issue.

Look, I LOVE my husband. I honestly think we have a better relationship than most of our friends. We truly are best friends, have a great sex life (sorry if TMI) and are a team. I was raised that if a couple slept apart....something was "weird.""

BUT...not only does my DH snore something awful....he also chugs water all day long and gets up to pee 2-4 times a night. When he gets back in bed, he fluffs his pillow/arranges the sheets just so, etc. He also gets up and fiddles with the A/C in between.

SO....we fall asleep together, and the second I hear him snore or have restless legs (oh, I forgot to mention his restless legs!) I go into the guest room. It is my "Woman Cave."

When we are on vacation...I sometimes CRY in the room. It will be 3 a.m. and I have not slept a wink due to his snoring/peeing/getting up. I have many times slept in the bathroom on the floor.

I do want to confess one thing. I am a VERY light sleeper. I don't want to be, but I am.

Yes, but I admit that I have thought about sleeping in a different room more than once. Especially when I am woken up by my DH's snoring.

Just wanted to say hello to Robin B! This is interesting to know...maybe *we* should share a room on our next WDW trip? Let's stick the guys in an Allstars room...and get a suite at the GF for you and I and the girls! LOL!

OMG...didn't see my fellow native Miamian posted, too! WOW, ok...now it looks like you and I should share a room, too! haha!

Been together since 1983...at first DH snoring was cute/comforting..by the 90's not so much,,by mid 90's I worked nights he worked days..best sleep I ever had..now he is OTR trucker....house is awful quiet.....

We're back in the same bedroom now, but last summer his snoring was bothering me so much that we tried separate rooms for a few months, and then I had surgery, and that extended it a couple more months. I slept so much better, but I don't think it was great for our relationship.

My late husband and I didn't sleep in the same bed. He was a loud snorer and when he moved, the bed moved too. I would elbow him to let him know that he was snoring too loud and keeping me up. I did this a lot. He slept in one room, I slept in the other room. We were happy and restful.

Of course! It's easier to kick him when he's snoring if he's right there.....:rotfl:

Yes, when he is home. DH works over seas for months at a time. When he is home we are inseparable (yes I know this will eventually change :lmao:) Even though DH snores so loud it really sounds like he is guiding ships through the fog.
He actually was presented with an award for being the worst snorer at Basic :rotfl2: So I try to fall asleep before him- once I am out I am gone. A train could come through the house and I wouldn't hear a thing.
We do spoon and sometimes I wonder if I will go deaf in my left ear over time from him snoring directly into it. The only time I get the urge to smother him with a pillow  is when I am trying to watch tv in the other room and I cannot hear whatever I am watching over his foghorn.
The funny thing is that when he is gone, I miss his snoring. It sounds strange but the quiet of the house without him is so loud that I find it hard to fall asleep. So here I am on the DIS at 2:30am :rotfl2:
