OK, I have not been to WDW, but have seen this at Six Flags Great America. I feel as long as an effort is made to not blow them in faces, there should be no problem. I also think it is polite to at least ask those right around you if they mind, who knows, someone could be allergic to them?

It doesn't bother me at all! I saw people use this method before and I am definately getting my kids bubbles this summer. Everyone in line thought the bubbles were fun ( just don't use the ones that stick to you and don't pop LOL). :teeth:

Not sure really what to answer.

I don't like getting bubbles in my eyes, and I'd imagine children don't either. I would also worry that someone may be allergic to the soap being used. I know it's unlikely but it is possible.

As long as the kids kids weren't blowing into the crowd, fine. But if it's windy you never know.

They have hypoallergenic (did I spell this right?) ones at the party store in our town so I bought those. That way they don't bother anyone with soap allergies (my neice is allergic to certain soaps).

Wouldn't bother me! I think they would amuse my own dd to watch them too.

Just so you know, bubbles are not the only things you need to worry about. If you have one of those spray fans, watch out! Some people get so mad if the mist gets on them.

We were in line for the tea cups once and a child was spraying herself with the fan. I kept feeling the mist and in the 90 degree heat, it felt good. The people in front of us did not feel the same way. They were really ticked.

I picked the one next to the bottom because it was closest to my feelings. I wouldn't even care if the kid was blowing as long as they weren't blowing them on people and if they asked first.

If it does bother you, a polite "I'd rather you didn't do that because xxxxx" ought to be enough for them to stop.

We take bubbles for sailaway party on our cruise, and always blow them out to sea.

If they are controlled, no problem. But I can understand where they could be a problem. I've turned around to say something to my dh and had some float into my eye. My eyes tend to be oversensitive to stuff, so they were stinging and itchy for awhile. And while I basically don't have a problem with the misters (we have one!!) sometimes kids aren't real careful where they're spraying them. Yes, they're having fun. But, please don't miss your little sister and soak my camera!!

I don't mind as long as the parents are very careful as to where the bubbles are landing, although I'm not sure how they could really control it.

I wear glasses and with the anti-reflective coating you have to be very careful about cleaning them, both with the cleaner and what you wipe them with. The idea of soap hitting the lenses doesn't thrill me nor does the idea of having to dig for the glasses wipes to clean them off.

I think the misters are even worse. It's impossible to control where the mist goes. It's a real pain to have to stop and wipe your glasses everytime someone decides to spray themselves.

If the parent is controlling it, I don't have a problem with it at all. BUT, I can totally understand others being bothered and if one is bothered then whoever is using the bubbles should certainly stop. It sounds like a good idea for those of us with little ones, but I don't think we'd do it....Because my boys love to run around and pop the bubbles and that would not be good in a line. lol

I wouldn't care WHO was blowing the bubbles...if it was keeping a child quiet - by all means - blow away!

and yes - i think the bubbles would amuse me too...no matter when I see bubbles - even just coming off the top of my dish soap, I can't help but smile!

Oh my gosh! I just posted on another thread that this subject could become a heated debate! LOL! I honestly had NO idea that someone started a poll/debate already! :Pinkbounc Too funny!

Bubble, schmubbles! I can't believe people would get annoyed at a child entertaining themself or a parent entertaining their child with bubbles! That's just so weird to me! Have we really become that much of an uptight society that something as silly as BUBBLES! bother people! They're meant to entertain and amuse, not antagonize or hurt anyone!

Let the flames begin! :earseek: I'll put them out by blowing bubbles on them! :teeth:

Or you could use the mist from the spray fan... ;)

If someone were to ask me POLITELY to stop, I would comply with their wishes..

If they were RUDE and NASTY about it, I would be compelled to start blowing bubbles at twice the speed - directed specifically at them..

I love the bubble idea. Would you rather have a screaming impatient child standing in line near you or a happy child blowing bubbles? I pick the bubbles. Bubbles are fun and harmless and could amuze me too.

Bubbles and water misters don't bother me at all. :D
