Please tell me which one you'd choose , and I'd love to hear why?

Artist Point
California Grill
Narcoosee's

California Grill would be the best place for a dinner date... very high class but its really nice for a dinner date

Narcoossees for setting and view, quiet and intimate, wonderful food. california Grill has amazing food but I thought the noise level and crowd made it non-romantic.

I really do not like noisey restaurants.....I recently ate at Artist Point our last visit and the service was good, the ambiance was lovely, and it was not noisey. I agree that CG can be rather bustling and noisy, good food and nice view. I have not done Narcoosee's in years, probably since it opened, and so cannot give an opinion on that one.. I also like Citrico's, good food, good service and if you have a window seat you can sort of see Wishes...but lighting is a bit bright and it can be a bit like a Mediterranean restaurant, not terribly noisey but more so than Artist Point.

IF your out to "impress", then California grill. A "happening" spot and with a great WDW view. For a quiet date, then Artist Point.
Narcoossee's is nice also, beng in the Grand Floridian and also having a nice view. But as a restaurant I'm not high on it these days due to some service issues we had there last visit.

For us, date night is a quiet place with great food and service where we can enjoy being with each other. So we chose Artist Point.

Nice atmosphere, great service, interesting wine list, very different menu choices. Can't be beat.

Why no Jiko's? :confused3 IMHO, it is one of the most overlooked and best restaurants in WDW. The food is excellent, the atmosphere is quiet, elegant and upscale, and the service is wonderful. :thumbsup2
Truly a great "date night" restaurant. :goodvibes

While I like the food at CG, I have been there too many times when the noise level was very high. This, to me, is a place I go with friends for a fun night out. It is very family oriented and poipular.

Have not done Narcoosee's yet.

I voted for AP. It is tucked away at the WL. It tends to be more adult oriented, and a great place for a date night. Plus the lobby has such WOW! factor, then a nice stroll by the geyser can put a romantic end to a wonderful dinner.

Make sure you tell us what you choose

I picked Artist Point because it's quiet (probably because I really like good conversation with my dinner), because the location is beautiful (the Wildreness Lodge as a whole never fails to impress whereas the Contemorary, for example, isn't always to everybody's taste), because there's a good selection of food without an emphasis on one thing (Narcoossee's is excellent, but I'd probably only go if I was looking for really great seafood in particular), and because you can't see Wishes (I find that anywhere with a good view is more crowded). That's my two cents! :hippie:

I pick Ca Grill. It may be a little noisy but that definitely means nobody will be listening to your conversations. And the setting is dramatic, the food is very good with an eclectic selection (the only one of the 3 you selected that has made any top 10 lists of critical reviews). We eat here every trip.

I've eaten at Narcoosies 4 times. The first time it was slow, the place was half empty and we enjoyed our meal. Second time, not so much. Third and fourth times, it was noisy and I felt like I was at a Red Lobster or something. I'll try it again at some point but it's not one I eat at every trip.

Artiste Pointe. I thought the menu selection was too limited. My family (all adults) are very adventurous eaters but many of us just were not impressed with the meal. We are six adults who try to order something different and then we taste everyone's. Most of us were disappointed considering the hype I've read about the place. I know that salmon is supposed to be their signature dish there but it's one fish I don't like so that may be part of my less than stellar review here. I thought the location and theming were very nice and there are lovely tables by the window with beautiful views but I was so disappointed with the rather bland food.

You are going to get more votes for California Grill just because it seats about five times more people than Narcosee's and has more satisfied customers. I ate at the latter about a week ago and it gets my vote, although CG is quite good.

So if you're looking for a more intimate venue.....
