I have a little bit of a different deal...maybe someone else has this same situation.
Our last trip was in late October/early November. Our Gold APs were set to expire about two weeks later. We renewed, of course, and would have used them on our trip we had scheduled for last month. Needless to say, we haven't entered a park using our renewed AP's yet.
That said, our Gold AP tickets are showing up in
MDE as "renewal certificates" with an expiration date of 12/31/2030. I would be perfectly fine with them simply starting the clock on these when we first enter the parks using them this November...but I fear that it won't be that way.
So, it puts me in a bit of a quandary. If I *knew* they'd be treated like I hope the will and the clock doesn't start on them until I enter a park in November...then I'll keep quiet and not say a word and be happy.
But, if they're treated like a normal renewal certificate and the clock started on them as soon as the previous passes expired, then of course I would want the partial refund. An extended expiration date of 2-3 extra months doesn't help us at all, but a few hundred dollars toward our renewals in November would.
Anyone else in this same situation...or have any idea how this will be handled?
