Was doing some research on these 2 cooling/chill towesls to see if these were worth the money and if anyone has tried either and if they really work, how often they need to be rewet etc. Just wondering because $15 a pop is a lot IMO for a towel esp. if it doesn't work. Or if just taking a washcloth from resort and putting it in ice bag is the same. TIA

I have the Chilly pad and I love it, it really works. They stay wet for awhile and can be rewet anywhere in hot or cold water and it gets cool again. Make sure to keep it in the case it comes in, so it doesn't dry out.

Thanks, I think I am going to pick one up before we go I have plenty of time. You can get them at Dick's or Sports Authority I think I've read for basically same price as you would online after shipping. If you don't mind me asking if you got yours at a sporting goods store what section is it in? Hopefully will save me time compared to when I was trying to find the body glide lol. (who thought right in the front by the checkouts?) Again June 2012 DISers to the rescue lol.

You're welcome. I actually got mine in a Military Exchange for $10. I saw them at Bass Pro Shop at the front in a display bin, they were like $14.
