Ok, after reading all the thousand reviews I decided that even if our DS (8) can only touch a penguin for a few seconds this tour will be worth the journey. Ever since Happy Feet came along he goes ever where with his stuffed penguin Mumble. Anyway, we booked this tour through the Anheiser Busch (sp?) website. It said the cost was $18.00 per adult and $12.00 per child. The final cost plus tax was $34.08?? I tried it twice and the cost came back the same. I confirmed and it said 2 adult, 1 child Fri Tour 1, Polar Expedition Tour. We are going in October is in less than? Can anyone explain??

Second question. I assume that if it says Tour 1 that means it is the first tour of the day. Is that correct? It also had Tour 2 and Tour 3 as an option.

Thanks for the help.

Tour prices vary seasonally. Tour 1 is the 1st of the day. The exact time is determined the day of the tour. I believe you can specify general desires such as an "early" or "late" tour. You can probably call their call center and have a note added to your reservation if you'd like.

I think it's because were going in off season. I booked it too for my husband and I, it was only 24$ we took tour one because we are going the another one later that day. I'm sure it will be fun.

Well, I am excited we are going off season. It really helps in the pocket book. We received our confirmation in the mail this past weekend and sure enough it was $12.00 for adults and $8.00 for children which saved us $16.00 overall. Yeah for us:banana: I told my son that he will be able to touch a penguin and he was on cloud nine. Forget the rest of the tour he is looking forward to those few seconds with his penguin.

Hi the tour lasts about an hour, u meet outside the gift shop at the polar exhibit, u get to see the polar bears, seals, beluga whales, plus the toys they use to train the animals, the penguin is at the end of the tour and is well worth it, u come out at the funfair type stalls at the end of the tour

We did the tour last May- My ds is a HUGE penguin lover. Without a doubt this was such a highlight- and something he will always remember. Just how often do you get to pet a penguin?? ;)

the tour itself was educational for kids and adults but in a fun way too-

Have a GREAT time! :)

I just booked this today. You can't do it online anymore. You have to call SW directly. We are going in October. Make sure to ask about discounts -- our cost was $34.08 for 2 adults and 1 child (our day was a lower tier she said $12/adult and $8/ages 3-9 plus a SC.)

By the time this trip is over we will have SOOOO many memories thanks to this website!!! DC and the dolphins, MK and doing Locks of Love in the barber shop, SW and petting a penguin ...... still hoping for an Illuminations cruise for our anniversary (too early to tell yet) and debating between Ohana and the Coral Reef ....

You guys are awesome!!!
