Poison Ivy or Oak at FW?

We just got back from FW and had a great time. We loved the campground and will be going back as soon as possible. My question is about the extra "souvenir" I have on my legs. It looks like it may be poison ivy or oak. At first I thought it was a reaction to the yellow fly bites I was getting but my neighbor who is a nurse said it looks like I walked though poison oak or ivy. Has this happened to anyone else?

I have seen poison ivy at FW, although in some fairly remote areas not generally travelled (my son and I like to geocache). I am one of the few individuals who doesn't have a reaction. On our last trip, however, I did pick up some chiggers, which can be pretty common down south :sad2: . What you have depends on what it looks like. If it resembles clusters of mosquito bites that just don't go away, you have chiggers. If it blisters, it would be poison ivy or oak.

I have gotten a rash on my legs several times at WDW. It looks a bit like poision ivy. Is your rash weeping? If so, then it probably is poision ivy.

If not and if it is mainly on your lower legs especially on the inside, you may have what I call the Disney Splash Rash. I think there is some kind of cleaner or disinfectant that is used there that I am allergic to and when it rains a bit or you walk through the melt water coming out of one of those ice barrels for drinks, it splashes up. I know for sure that the second time I got it, I felt my legs start to burn after a splash and went to the restroom and washed them, but I got it anyway.
