Points rental ???

Hi- I'm very new here, but interested in the points rentals.... I was wondering about how it works exactly- Does anyone have a place to read up on how to rent,and use the points? Can points be rented,then used to add on to points we already own? Or would those transactions have to be separate when booking? Like i said, i know nothing- but I love the idea of this! TIA

Read your owner documents and learn about "transfering" points. Then you can rent/transfer points from someone to add to your total. You might want to take this over to the DVC planning board.

Yes, you can rent from another member, and those points are dumped into your account to use however you wish. They become your points for the year. While the points in theory retain their original home resort, in practice they will take on your home resort, but points that you rent that are in the 2006 use year, must go into your account to use during your 2006 use year, too, so that won't change, no matter what.
