Points need to be used by Nov 2021

We just cancelled our Spring break trip to Aulani so We have 305 points left to be used by end of November. With the travel restrictions, it doesn’t seem like we will be able to use the points before expiration.

‘What would you do it this situation? Rent out the point, trade out to RCI for a local get away during COVID, gift them to family members?

I´d gift them to someone I know could use them; it would be less of a hassle for me. I might try to do a local trip first.

Renting them should be pretty easy, with a price below $15/point it should be no problem.

I was in a similar situation as you ,mine were expiring 7/31, and rented them here for 13/pp a win/win for everyone.

I would trade into RCI if I could. Weekend getaways until you can travel further sounds great, especially as we head into Spring. I would also offer transfers to friends who are owners or gift stays to friends.

Rent them out if you need the funds to pay your maintenance dues. I rented mine on the rent/trade board at $15/pp within a couple of weeks of listing them.

We are not as active here as we used to be and I assume I have to pay to become a gold member to list our points for rent.
David’s rental sound like a good alternative when I looked into it further this morning. But I was told they have quite a bit of inventory and worry me a bit if they don’t rent out.

They are still dealing with points from owners who had rentals booked during closure, Since he already paid for those points, those are going to be given priority,

I had a similar situation as you, my points were expiring in October. I was able to rent them out on the site that sponsors this board. It took about 2 1/2 weeks and they were able to rent them out. It was very easy! I had just under 300 points to rent.
