Points in "holding" ?

I think that is what it is called. We had a trip planned 5/7-5/9 & had to cancel last minute. So I have 26 points in "holding" that were this year's points. My UY is Dec, so MS told me I had to use them by 11/30 or lose them. Am I able to "rent" these out or transfer them to someone else? I know its not many points, but someone might need them. Wasn't sure I can do these things with these type of points. Thanks for any help! Debbie

The problem with trying to rent them is that you are limited to booking them in the last 60 days of your use year.

Actually, that is not correct. Reservations have to be booked within 60 days of the new check in date. I would think would still be doable for renters. I have had a lot of people looking that are within 60 days.
