Points in Holding - Booking Suggestions?

I am looking for a little help (or maybe hope). I have 84 points in holding due to a booking that had to be cancelled.

My hope is to book around the first week of November. I will either do this or something right after the Christmas Holidays. I am hoping these are times where the resorts will have some openings. I know I can only use these points when it is 60 days out or less - so I am not sure what my chances will be

Anyone have experience with these times and using holding points??

We did this last year. We had given my in-laws a trip to Vero in October that they cancelled on. We had 90 points to use. We booked a few days at Old Key West with no problem at all for early November and had a great time! Good luck!

You might be able to get something after Jan 8. The marathon is on the 7 and lots of people will be checking out after the marathon.

First week of Nov could be tough with Food & Wine Festival, upcoming Jersey Week, Soap Opera Weekend, Veteran's Day and finishing up Halloween parties.
